Plains Camp is in the private concession area, north of Skukuza Camp inside Kruger Park and adjoining the unfenced MalaMala Game Reserve. The Plains Camp has four en-suite canvas tents, raised slightly off the ground on wooden platforms. An ideal camp for tourists who enjoy walking amongst the flora and fauna - as the area is unfenced to wildlife. A qualified and experience Field Guide and ranger will lead you through the wilderness area in this section of Kruger Park.
Rhino Walking Safaris also has exclusive use of
some of the Kruger National Park’s public roads for evening game drives, well
after gate closing times (sunset), ensuring guests an unforgettable experience. Any combination of multi-day walks, game drives
or primitive sleep-outs on raised wooden platforms can be arranged.
A maximum of 8 guests can be accommodated at the Rhino Plains Camp or on a Walking Safari.
