Accommodation

There are 8 suites; each has air-conditioning, plunge pools, en-suite bathrooms, internal and external showers.  The suites each have coffee/tea facilities with private plunge pool and patios; the bedrooms are furnished with Queen size beds and specially commissioned furnishings with mosquito netting around the beds.  The Ivory suite being exclusive has full bar facilities, in-room dining, bedroom, en-suite bathroom, with private pool and patio. A private Landrover will be available for guests use occupying the Ivory suite.  

 

Activities

Morning, afternoon and into early evening there are Safari game drives with experienced Game Rangers and Shangaan trackers. Guests may hear at dusk the regular call of the Scops owl, the laughing Hyenas and the distant grunts of the lions. For guests who like walking, trackers will led the way into the bushveld for close up of the Africa's beautiful wild creatures.  

 

Facilities

The Selati Camp is unique with a subterranean cellar that is fully stocked with South African wines and dining will be an experience one is not likely forget. Breakfast and lunch are served in the diningroom or out on the veranda overlooking the river and waterhole. Enjoy an African night in the boma, where dinner is served around the fire.   The lodge has an art gallery, curio shop, library and lounge. Telephone/fax facilities are also available. The   swimming pool is most welcomed in the heat of the day and early evening.  All suites have a panoramic view of wildlife and birds in nature.
