The main lodge at Lebombo consists of 15 Cliffside double rooms. All suites have their own en-suite bathroom and shower, outside shower, mini-bar and fridge, room mini-safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, direct dial telephones and game-viewing deck. All suites have panoramic view of the rivers and bushveld. Hairdryers, insect spray, mosquito repellent and citronella wipes are available in all the suites. International adapters and converters are available at reception.
Activities
There are early morning game drives, afternoon into spotlit evening game drives in open Land Rovers, where guests might spot the "Big Five" - Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo. Other species are cheetah, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, hippo, wildebeest, kudu, crocodile and many other mammals. Reptile and an array of bird species occur in the area. Guided bush walks are recommended as guests can learn about the fauna and flora of South Africa.
Facilities
The lounge and timber-deck dining areas overlooking the N'wanetsi/Sweni Rivers, bar area, gymnasium and health spa, library with Internet facilities, wine cellar with a selection of South African wines. Dinner is served in the open air "boma" under African night skies. In the heat of the day guests can relax around the swimming pool.
At the main lodge Satellite TV and fax facilities are available for guests requiring the service. The Lebombo Village features an art gallery, gym and health spa, wine bouquet as well as an interactive ranger centre, and stocks an exclusive range of fashionable bush wear, jewellery and African artifacts. Basic necessities such as camera film and batteries are available.
