Singita Lebombo Lodge
We now go across from Sabi Sands on the west, to the eastern edge of the Kruger National Park. Singita Lebombo is a private concession within the Kruger Park, and like the Lebombo Euphorbia tree after which it was named, the design of Lebombo Lodge is one of a kind. From the sweeping wooden decks, you can watch the theatre that unfolds before you, while the lap pool beckons to enjoy a relaxing afternoon. The landscape comprises of the foothills of the Lebombo Mountain Range, and overlooks the N'wanetsi and Sweni Rivers, and the savannah plains beyond.
Incorporating glass and wood into its design, the lodge and suites are also decorated to the same discerning standard of experience. The main lodge boasts an open-plan lounge and bar area complete with a library and Internet and computer facilities.

Singita Lebombo Lodge can accommodate 30 guests in 15 suites. All suites are en-suite with an inside and outside shower, bath, mini bar and fridge, room safe, air-conditioning, overhead fans, direct dial telephones and game viewing deck with a day bed. All the suites have direct dial telephones, with the Internet access available in the main lodge. The fifteen suites feature contemporary finishes with beds dressed with Egyptian cotton and silky-soft throws, and before retiring to the luxury and comfort of your suite, enjoy dinner in the boma, followed by spending the evening, if you so wish, sleeping under the stars on the bed of your private terrace.
Singita Sweni Lodge
The smallest of the Singita lodges, Sweni Lodge was influenced by the structures of dens, warrens and lairs found in the area. Flanking the Sweni River, this tranquil sanctuary is elevated on stilts with decks of timber. Even when you’re indoors, you’ll have the sensation of being close to the river and trees, with a feel almost like staying in a tree house, with floor-to-ceiling glass letting in the dappled light of the surrounding forest.
The Lebombo Concession is an area of pristine African bushveld abundant in wildlife, including the Big 5 and an incredible variety of birdlife and smaller game. Sweni is in a great location low at the water's edge, giving guests a panoramic view of the hippo-dotted river.

The lodge is constructed almost entirely of glass, slatted wood and bleached woven branches, furnished with African artefacts and dark leather. The lounge and dining areas are built on stilts and are great areas to sit back and take in the sights and sounds of the African bush. The main lodge boasts the lounge and timber deck dining areas with views of the bush & Sweni river, a bar area, a lounge area (complete with fireplace), a swimming pool and a wine cellar. Being the smallest of the Singita lodges, Sweni can accommodate a maximum of 12 guests in only six luxury, secluded suites. The six suites, with wonderfully textured furnishings, have been carefully developed to bring in the textures and shades of the bush. Designed with open-plan living in mind, your suite flows from the bathroom area, through to the lounge and into the bedroom – yet if you wish, each area may be sealed off by curtains. Try the outdoor shower overlooking the river or – for a magical experience – ‘camp out’ under the stars on the day bed out on your viewing deck. The luxury air-conditioned suites have floor-to-ceiling glass walls, luxurious bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, an expansive living area, mini bar and fridge, room safe and private wooden leisure decks with a day bed. All the suites have direct dial telephones.
